The entire COPE Commercial and Site to Site Management team came together in Melbourne for the first time ever in August.

The two-day sales conference was a key element of senior management’s strategy to encourage a high-performance environment and build a platform for significant growth and profitability for the future.

A feature event was a Communication Workshop which was designed to enhance individual and team performance by helping the team to work together in a more effective way.

Delivering excellence with COPE Sensitive FreightNewly appointed National Commercial Manager, Rene Pamount, said, “It was a challenging day for everyone who attended.  We learned a lot about ourselves and the behaviour of others.  Most importantly, however, we learnt how to apply this knowledge to improve our relationships with our colleagues and our customers”.

The workshop was facilitated by Ashley Baldry of Work Test.  At the end of the proceedings, Ashley expressed how impressed he was with the commitment displayed by senior management and the enthusiastic participation of the sales team.  He further elaborated by commenting, “The overwhelming success of this workshop has set this team up for a very bright future indeed”.

Rene agrees, stating, “Working with Ashley has been a game-changer.  He is fully aligned with our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity and Pride and is committed to our vision of delivering excellence”.
